Selluent (“Selluent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product built and operated by ScaleKernel. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website, deploy the Selluent widget on your own site, or interact with an agent as a visitor. By using Selluent, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• •Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, work email, company details, and billing information needed to run your account.
• •Widget & conversation data. When your website visitors talk to an agent, we process the conversation transcript, any contact details the visitor shares (such as name or email), approximate location, referral source, and sentiment signals derived from the conversation.
• •Usage & technical data. We collect log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how our dashboard and website are used, to keep the service reliable and improve it.

2. How we use information

• •To operate and provide the Selluent service, including building and running agents, capturing leads, and generating dashboard analytics.
• •To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
• •To monitor, secure, and improve the reliability and performance of our product.
• •To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Cookies & tracking

Our website and widget use a limited set of cookies and similar technologies — first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and analytics cookies to understand how our site and dashboard are used. The Selluent widget may use functional cookies on your website to maintain conversation state for a visitor session. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the site or widget work.

4. How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

• •With service providers who help us run infrastructure, hosting, email, analytics, and payments — bound by confidentiality obligations.
• •With the workspace owner whose website a visitor interacted with, since conversation and lead data captured by an agent belongs to that customer's workspace.

5. Data retention

We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal or legitimate business retention requirements (such as billing records).

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our systems — to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

8. Children’s privacy

Selluent is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
